The distribution of lumber strength any grade may evolve, for example, due to climate change, forest fire, changes in processing methods, and other factors. So, North America the products industry monitors evolution their means, percentiles, or parameters ensure wood meet industrial standard. For administrative convenience informativeness, one adopt a rotating sampling plan by 36 mills initial occasion having six them replaced each successive next five occasions. data on specified number, commonly 10 pieces lumbers from sampled mills, are obtained. Under such plans observations same mill correlated, samples taken different occasions also correlated. Ignoring these correlations lead invalid inference procedures. Yet accommodating cluster structure parametric models is difficult entails high level misspecification risk. In this paper we explore symmetry clustered collected via develop permutation scheme testing various hypotheses interest. We introduce semiparametric density ratio model link distributions response variable over time. combination retains validity methods while extracting maximum information plan. A simulation study indicates that proposed tests firmly control type I error whether not clustered. use improves power tests. apply motivating application. effectively address many real-world issues with trust worth conclusions.
